Social & Messaging Product Roadmap · 6 Active Feature Proposals · 34,447 Priority Votes
X is a leading Social & Messaging platform tracked on CrowdFeatures. Engineers, product managers, and power users use this board to propose new X capabilities, upvote high-priority roadmap items, and verify features that have already launched in production.
Add a clean filter toggle on the Following tab to temporarily hide reposts and quote-posts so users can catch up on original updates from accounts they follow.
An edit button should be a basic feature, not reserved for premium members. Give standard users a 15-minute window to fix typos without needing a paid subscription.
Killing third-party clients like Tweetbot destroyed the power-user experience. Offer a reasonable API tier that allows independent clients to exist sustainably.
The platform is overrun with bot accounts. Implement mandatory phone verification for posting and visible bot-likelihood scores on suspicious accounts.
X Articles exist but are buried and poorly supported. Make them a first-class feature with proper formatting, images, and SEO so writers can publish directly on the platform.
Show users exactly why a post appears in their feed and let them fine-tune the algorithm with sliders for topics, accounts, and content types they want more or less of.
