Notion is a leading Productivity & Design platform tracked on CrowdFeatures. Engineers, product managers, and power users use this board to propose new Notion capabilities, upvote high-priority roadmap items, and verify features that have already launched in production.
Cache workspace pages and databases locally in IndexedDB/SQLite on desktop and mobile so pages open in <15ms offline on flights and sync deterministically when reconnected.
Complex Notion pages with many databases take 5-10 seconds to load. This makes Notion unusable as a daily driver for fast-paced workflows. Performance needs 10x improvement.
Notion essentially bricks itself without internet. We need the ability to cache databases locally so we can work on planes or trains without any connectivity.
Currently permissions are page-level. Allow row-level and column-level permissions in databases so teams can share a database while restricting sensitive fields.
The timeline view is a start but it is not a proper Gantt chart. Add dependency arrows, critical path highlighting, and resource allocation views for serious project management.
Allow sending and receiving emails directly within Notion. Turning emails into tasks and database entries currently requires Zapier or Make workarounds.
